    Laknavaram lake is about 78 km from Warangal and 6km Govindaraopet. Tourists coming from Warangal direction has to take Highway 202 to the NH Mulugu. After crossing Mulugu, 8 km drive to the clockwise direction in the dense forest to reach this place.

    Green Hills of agency Govindaraopet Mandal are side by side to form a massive bowl like structure that holds the spacious, beautiful and pristine lake popular known as 'Laknavaram Cheruvu'.

    The lake was the discovery of ancient Kakatiya rulers. They saw this excellent place amidst trees and green hills lined up around keeping rainwater. The Kakatiya rulers only built a small gate turning the place into a large lake which now feeds thousands of acres of farmland each year.

    Locals in Warangal are very beautiful and the generosity of the inescapable nature. Today we visited Laknavala Laknavala Cheruvu lake or body of water landlocked sea with beautiful lazy islands, green scattered in between. The lake has suspension bridges to one of the islands, and several piers on the bridge and along the end of the lake. Laknavaram-lake-boating
    It was a bottle attached to one of the springs, and which have been normally available to the public. During our visit, the district collector had also planned to visit the area, and the ship was reserved for use.
